well, i started a cowl - one i found on ravelry that another crafty suicide girl designed and it was going to be lovely but then started thinking...i can't get my bandage wet, so how am i going to wash my hair? thought about booking a wash and blowdry at aveda tomoro, but i can't stretch my neck back so no way i can get my head in the bowl...hmmm. so i'm just going to keep piling on the bumble and bumble hair powder, twist the front into a quiff, and then put on a headscarf a la 1950s starlet...
...that way i can keep the skanky hair covered too!
but did also order a lovely hajib - i couldn't resist.
it's black with starbursts embroidered onto it. will arrive at my office too late for me to wear this weekend, but will come in handy for attending muslim friends' weddings and other events where i could feel more comfortable covered up.
so back to crocheting 12 pointed stars!

it'll also come in handy if u go and visit foodlebug as there is a mosque opposite LOL. i actually think they are beautiful! wish i had reasons to wear one ;)

eureka!!! i did manage in the end. the pattern was wrong!!! but i have 1 yellow 12 pointed star now ... it just needs perfecting. its a bit badly crocheted *blush* xxx
