venus and mars are alright tonight...

watching the US version of life on mars on the sofa with harvey keitel, just had my first day out of the house in over 2 weeks and it was strange. my fever was up this morning and fell again once the panadol kicked in, but the alien nostril hurt even worse when the codienies wore off...ouch, especially when i sneeze. doclady is happy with the progress though so that is good!

and i've managed to lay out all my om squares and have sooo many pinks that i need to make ALOT of other colours to pad out - but still keep them all warm bases. will make a nice wallhanging/afghan/rug...eventually!

alien cyst thing

haven't been able to crochet for days - got an alien infected sebum cyst growing on my ribcage and it's now about the size of my hand! so can only sit up for a few minutes at a time as it hurts too much...am taking penicillin to try and dry it up but it's not kicked in yet i'm sure. going to go back to the doctor when they open up as i need to be checked again - my fever is high high high and i want more painkillers.

the morphine patches are for tattooing not medical purposes! lol...

ohm my god...

feeling better - the doc has let me come back to work for a couple days before i head to ibiza...that is if i don't relapse again...had a wibble earlier today so just took some more solpadol - 60mg of codeinies are great to make you feel good, lower the fever, and cement up the tummy! sooo good that i think i might need another one with my peppermint tea....as i've managed to actually eat some noodles and keep them down (for now).

also over lunch i've scored some cheapo red, orange, and pink yarn to make ohms while i'm sitting on the beach. will make a change from last year's jolly rogers.
