making some purple and white jolly roger crocheted flags for pirate night at the ship tonight.

been wearing my black human hair scarf, and it goes great with my new red hair!!!

long time wrong time

i"m not too sure about the silk/alpaca/human hair scarf now...it seems too long.

but am going to keep working on it - need to get some seed beeds to crochet into the fringy bits.

and more noro for the blondeboy's scarf.

life is still getting in the way of my crafting...dammit! spent the weekend with my fishie friend and my blonde loverboy down in bristol and only managed to create one aum square - but its so lovely in its pink and blue brightness!

then last night i finally got to spend a bit of time using up the latest ball of noro kureyon on the loverboy's new scarf...they colourway is still going to beautifully work with using my old red dreads as fringe!

i do wonder if i should feel sorry for the new loverboy though - we are already talkin' about WHEN we live together, not IF. and he's goin' to have to deal with piles of crocheted afghans and amigurumis and plates of yarny sushi everywhere.

luckily he so far does not seem put off at all and finds my fake reindeer heads quite cute...i think alot of it has to do with the fact that he is a hands on craftsperson for a living - being a restorative and artisic plasterer he appreciates he detail in things.

and i may take string and clothes, but he takes dust and makes buildings!

tooo much on and not enough time - i'm literally jonesing to keep working on my latest human hair scarf project - its supposed to be for the new blondeboy but he's already worried about the glint in my eye! its out of noro kureyon and the trim will be some of my old dreadlocks - i can't wait to finish it...

it's my second human hair creation and i've already had alot of interest - and as i can't grow hair/dreadlocks very quickly i reckon £1k is a good asking price. so far no one has coughed when i've quoted it - and not bad considering that woman is selling a crocheted plate of (very flat) fish and chips at libery for a bout £600.

so why the heck am i so busy?
well new blondeboy mostly and our 6 day weekends, lol - he came to visit and stayed from thursday to tuesday and it was absolutely heaven. 24/7 with only one wobble but that was more daughter induced than lover...phew.

and this whole university thing.
i'm loving it and it's interesting but really slow going...next week we start on the gender stuff so i'll take in a pile of books - included in the pile will be ones that i've edited/written...do you think i can get written off for the gender section maybe???

and finally - my flat!!!
i ordered the new bathroom yesterday, and re-designed my kitchen to match, and they can start on monday - so in 2 weeks i should have a kitchen i'm not ashamed of...but it means i need to clear 20 years of comics and crochet patterns out of the cupboards TONIGHT.

because i want to get the heckout of london as soon as i deliver this new web product tomoro night! we've only been apart 2 days but i miss him horridly - and he's perfect for me as he's a craftsperson for a living - think white trash sex bomb gaudi and that is him! and he layed in bed watching me crochet for hours on sunday morning...and kept telling me how hot i am - he obviously has a hooker fetish.

there is no way i'll have time to go to kniterati this week even though i'm loving the book nudge that we are reading - i can feel it making me smarter i swear, but i've got to go get my face acid washed again to reveal new more youthful skin now i'm fucking a 28 yr old...o wait did i say fucking? its actually a WHOLE lot more, and he loves me. wow.

and i have time to read anymore 'fun' books right now as i have my reading list for to become a very very smart social anthropologist!

and he's coming to london to see me on thursday so i have to train on wednesday which means no knit blub club at all this week. but might make it to fanny minka's shoreditch stitch and bitch this saturday...i'll drag the blonde boy along - i'm easing him in slowly after the last one got all crochet skilledz.

up up and away

i am going away and i've not packed any crochet - at all.

i'm not travelling as light as the other weekend as wanted to bring the white boots that i bought last time i was there...and i need my 50s style one piece bathing suit for the sauna!

so this is strange.

but i did add more human hair fringe to my scarf last night!

my life is such a rush now - even more so than it was before. and i was bad THEN. now tis worse - but i'm loving being out of london and out of the house every other weekend. especially as it means hanging out in bristol's yarn shop...and in a fancy bed made of jungle vines. it also means less time for hooking, and making sure i have little mobile project that don't take up much room as i like travelling light!

which means unless the weather really turns this weekend, i won't be taking the new yummy black silk and alpaca and human hair scarf i've been working on...damn it's beautiful - i cn't wait to get it photographed properly to show you all. i've used my old hair as the black human hair fringes and it is lush...i even worked on it a bit more when i got home from movida last night, and i can't wait until there is time to make more more more. in the meantime i'll be carrying around and continuing to make bright coloured aums.
